Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kieth Garrison (ranked 24427 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erlend Jahr (ranked 5835 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kieth Garrison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Erlend Jahr! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garrison throws a sloppy head kick and Jahr moves out of range easily. Jahr gets a clinch. Jahr is trying to pull guard but Garrison has him pressed against the cage. Jahr prevents a takedown attempt there.
Garrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Jahr is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Jahr breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jahr clinches. Jahr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jahr has a takedown stuffed. Garrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Garrison wants it to stay on the feet. Garrison thinks about countering with a head kick. Kieth Garrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erlend Jahr.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garrison slaps away a takedown attempt from Jahr, before circling back to the center of the mat. It looked like Garrison was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Jahr shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jahr closes the distance and pushes Garrison back into the cage. Jahr tries to pull guard but Garrison holds him up against the cage and eventually Jahr drops back down to his feet.
Garrison is trying to break the clinch but Jahr is controlling him. Jahr jumps guard but Garrison stands there with Jahr around his waist. Jahr gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. A frustrated look appears on Garrison's face as he tries to break the clinch. Jahr dodges an elbow strike from Garrison.
Jahr jumps guard but Garrison turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Garrison lands a knee to the body.
Garrison is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jahr is defending well for now. Garrison looking to slow down the pace here. Jahr is trying to pull guard but Garrison has him pressed against the cage. Jahr pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Jahr instigates a clinch. Jahr successfully pulls guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jahr utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Garrison distracts Jahr with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Jahr scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Garrison defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jahr. Jahr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice takedown defense from Garrison. No joy for Jahr on that attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garrison. Jahr is trying to counter with his kicks. Erlend Jahr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garrison slips under a jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jahr clinches up with Garrison and pushes him back against the cage. Jahr is looking to take this one to the mat. Jahr looks winded! Jahr breaks the clinch.

It looked like Garrison was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Garrison. Jahr blocks a head kick by Garrison.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jahr goes for a double leg but Garrison avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Garrison continues to drive forward. As Jahr looks to move away, Garrison throws a big counter combo but Jahr just gets out of the way. Garrison tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jahr paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice takedown defense from Garrison. No joy for Jahr on that attempt. Garrison appears to be looking for a big counter. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Erlend Jahr dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jahr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Garrison sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jahr somewhat. Garrison seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kieth Garrison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jahr tries for a takedown but Garrison circles away easily and Garrison counters with a two punch combo. Garrison tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Jahr counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Garrison tries to keep at a distance but Jahr has taken the fight into the clinch. Garrison is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jahr is defending well.

Kieth Garrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erlend Jahr. Jahr is working for takedown but Garrison is calmly controlling the position for now. Jahr avoiding damage as Garrison throws knees to the body.
Jahr has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Garrison avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jahr is breathing heavily. Garrison misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Jahr.

Jahr tries to avoid it but Garrison manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jahr to the ground. Jahr escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jahr tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Garrison tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Jahr manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Jahr shoots and misses and Garrison counters with a three punch combo that has Jahr backing up. Jahr nods at Garrison to acknowledge the strikes. Garrison shoots in for a takedown but Jahr shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jahr shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Garrison defends it nicely. Garrison appears to be looking for a big counter.

Jahr keeps control of Garrison as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Garrison is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jahr can't fight it off and eventually Garrison manages to take the fight to the floor. Jahr looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Jahr is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Garrison dives into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jahr tries to buck Garrison off but Garrison is having none of it. An elbow from Garrison crashes against the mat.
Garrison cracks Jahr with a big elbow. Garrison creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Garrison cracks Jahr with a big elbow. Garrison has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Jahr keeps Garrison under control for a moment. Jahr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Garrison connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jahr some visible discomfort.
Jahr is trying to work for a sweep but Garrison has mounted him! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jahr is looking to get to half guard. Garrison really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Garrison cracks Jahr with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Jahr in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Garrison lands a nice shot to the head. Garrison is in the full mount, landing strikes. Jahr is looking to get to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Garrison lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Jahr takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Kieth Garrison overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jahr really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Garrison is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jahr can do to turn this around?

Garrison with a couple of short strikes. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garrison has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Jahr's face.
