Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Santos.
Santos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Santos wants it to stay on the feet.
Xie shoots and misses
and Santos counters with a straight right hand.
Xie tries to close the distance and clinch but Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Xie but Xie pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Santos wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Santos changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Xie tries to avoid it but Santos manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Xie to the ground. Xie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Santos is staying active underneath Xie, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Xie is looking for a kimura but Santos is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Xie to get the leverage.
Xie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Santos is just riding it out for now. Xie eventually gives up the hold.

I would just about give that final round to Anderson Santos.
I think Santos has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
