The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Walker does it's job there.
Ambe looks to throw the jab but Walker is out of range.
Ambe clinches.
Walker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Walker misses with a hook from the clinch.

Ambe throws a punch but it's blocked by Walker .

Walker fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ambe backwards.

Ambe swings wildly with an uppercut but Walker uses good head movement to avoid it.
Ambe's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Walker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Walker lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Ambe backwards.
Ambe's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Walker misses with a hook from the clinch.
Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ambe.
Ambe has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Ambe is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Ambe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Ambe thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
