Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Minor Caugh (ranked 4234 p4p, 355 weight class) and Timofei Rasputin (ranked 945 p4p, 98 weight class). The key to victory for Minor Caugh has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Minor Caugh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Timofei Rasputin! The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, David Hoff and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Caugh moves in looking to clinch but Rasputin pushes him off. Rasputin swats away the attempt to clinch by Caugh. A looping hook to the body misses from Rasputin. Caugh does a little dance to reset his feet. Rasputin's coach down at Gimnasio di Heritage Nel Culo was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Rasputin's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. The fight stays on the outside here - Caugh looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rasputin keeps the fight on the outside. Rasputin misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Caugh.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Caugh uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Rasputin. Rasputin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Caugh doesn't seem bothered though. Rasputin scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rasputin slips a straight right by Caugh. Rasputin thuds his right hand into Caugh's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Minor Caugh has been cut. Rasputin digs a good body shot into Caugh's ribs. Rasputin circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Caugh to the canvas! Caugh doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Rasputin keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Timofei Rasputin! After the fight, Timofei Rasputin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
