The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crushing Maniac needs to keep his hands up - Manderly had a free shot at his head there.
Crushing Maniac with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Manderly to score with a decent uppercut.
Manderly misses with a two punch combination.
Manderly lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Crushing Maniac at a distance.
Manderly throws a left and a right that both miss
and Crushing Maniac counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Manderly has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
Manderly wants to get back to his feet.
Crushing Maniac lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Crushing Maniac looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Crushing Maniac is nestled in close to Manderly, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
