Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ashley Montoya (ranked 25194 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eusebio Lucas (ranked 23404 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eusebio Lucas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ashley Montoya! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eusebio Lucas! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Montoya has taken the fight to the clinch.
Montoya is trying to stall.
Montoya drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lucas gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Lucas pushes Montoya back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. Montoya drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lucas lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Montoya. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Montoya can't get the takedown.

Lucas receives a warning from the referee for stalling. Montoya really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Lucas will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Montoya up against the cage. Montoya has Lucas pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Lucas manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lucas holding his opponent close, against the cage.

Montoya blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Montoya is working for takedown but Lucas is calmly controlling the position for now. Montoya works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Montoya throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Montoya would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Lucas has his foot on Montoya's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Montoya works his way back into a safe position though. Lucas had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Montoya defends it easily. Lucas is looking for a triangle but Montoya pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Montoya got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lucas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Montoya has managed to get both his arms back between Lucas's legs - danger averted. Montoya lands a couple of decent looking shots. Montoya stops Lucas from standing up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Lucas is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Montoya defends well. Montoya postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Montoya clinches up with Lucas and pushes him back against the cage. Montoya is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lucas to keep the fight standing. Lucas tries a knee to the head but Montoya blocks it.

Montoya jumps guard but Lucas stands there with Montoya around his waist. Montoya gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Eusebio Lucas. Montoya tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lucas swivels and escapes. Montoya closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Lucas quickly recovers to half guard. Montoya stops Lucas from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lucas looking for submissions off his back. Montoya thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lucas's head. Lucas gets back to full guard.
Lucas is controlling Montoya's posture. Lucas lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lucas defends well. Lucas has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Lucas lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Montoya has his foot on Lucas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lucas works his way back into a safe position though. Montoya will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Lucas postures up and lands a big shot to Montoya's brow. Lucas works over Montoya with some ground and pound from guard. Lucas lands a couple of decent looking shots. Lucas trying to stand up but can't free himself from Montoya's guard. Lucas gets to his feet - Montoya follows without any prompting. Montoya clinches.

Montoya changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Lucas fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Montoya fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Nice takedown defense from Montoya. No joy for Lucas on that attempt. Lucas shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Montoya pinned against the cage. Montoya gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Montoya attempts a counter takedown but Lucas avoids it well and moves away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eusebio Lucas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Lucas takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Montoya fails to pull the fight into his guard.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Eusebio Lucas. Montoya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lucas pinned against the cage. Lucas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lucas tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Montoya displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lucas. Lucas gets a clinch. Lucas leaning against his opponent.
Montoya is trying to break free. Lucas breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lucas shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lucas showed some decent athleticism there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lucas landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Montoya is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Lucas scores with a couple of nice shots. Lucas has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Lucas drops an elbow to the side of Montoya's head. Lucas drops an elbow to the side of Montoya's head. Montoya wants to improve his position but Lucas is controlling well.
Lucas decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Lucas shoots in for a double leg but Montoya sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Montoya moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Eusebio Lucas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Lucas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
