Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexey Juravlev (ranked 1430 p4p, 136 weight class) and Michael Brakeley (ranked 1498 p4p, 140 weight class). Brakeley is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Woke up this Morning. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juravlev lands a lovely overhand right.
Juravlev missing with a left hand there. Brakeley was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Brakeley lands with a shot to the body.
Brakeley scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Juravlev is breathing heavily.
Brakeley throws a wild body kick that Juravlev sees coming a mile off.
Brakeley fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Alexey Juravlev has been cut.
Juravlev throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brakeley scores with a nice body kick.
Brakeley cracks Juravlev with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Juravlev looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brakeley finish him?
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brakeley delivers a nice body kick.
Brakeley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Juravlev was well out of range. Poor timing from Brakeley.
Juravlev takes a swing at Brakeley's ribcage but misses.
Juravlev steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Brakeley. That one must have hurt.
Brakeley finds Juravlev's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Juravlev flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Brakeley lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Juravlev will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Brakeley!
As Michael Brakeley got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I'm not surprised...mother fuckers!'.
