Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Riley Roth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicolas Morales! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Alexandre Firmino and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales has Roth up against the cage in a clinch.
Morales wants to break the clinch but can't.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Roth is looking to work some ground and pound but Morales has wrist control. Roth wants to get up but he can't break Morales's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Roth stands up over Morales, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Roth wants to control from the top but Morales keeps moving. Roth is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Roth is looking to stand up but Morales won't let him. Morales keeping moving, preventing Roth from controlling successfully. Morales will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
