Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lighty LightHeavyweight (ranked 377 p4p, 61 weight class) and Bryan Schaub (ranked 1002 p4p, 164 weight class). Bryan Schaub has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lighty LightHeavyweight's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Lighty LightHeavyweight!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bryan Schaub!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Santiago Holmes and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schaub rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and LightHeavyweight counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Schaub digs a good hook to LightHeavyweight's body.
LightHeavyweight tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Schaub manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
LightHeavyweight ducks under a wild hook from Schaub.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Schaub has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Schaub throws a right and a left that LightHeavyweight avoids nicely.
Schaub throws a body punch but LightHeavyweight moves out of range.
Schaub walks into a jab.
LightHeavyweight shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
LightHeavyweight throws a lazy uppercut
and Schaub counters with a stiff right hand.
Schaub drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
LightHeavyweight is not content to let Schaub control the position.
Schaub is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, LightHeavyweight has escaped the position, nice work there.
LightHeavyweight knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Schaub on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round.
LightHeavyweight is looking to regain half guard here but Schaub keeps moving and retains side control.
Schaub is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. LightHeavyweight knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Schaub working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Schaub has an Americana. LightHeavyweight didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Schaub is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Schaub hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
