Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rebel Son (ranked 3752 p4p, 388 weight class) and Kamakiri Yoritomo (ranked 3330 p4p, 355 weight class). Yoritomo has chosen Praying Mantis - Praying Mantis as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rebel Son! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Kamakiri Yoritomo! The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yoritomo throws a leg kick which misses Son's front leg but catches the back leg as Son tries to avoid it. Yoritomo scores with a hook. Yoritomo scores with a three punch combo!
Son definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. No luck for Son with that takedown attempt. Son takes one on the button. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Yoritomo, as that shot connected.
Yoritomo has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Yoritomo lands with a good body shot. Son shoots and misses enabling Yoritomo to counter with a crisp jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Son with a lazy takedown attempt and Yoritomo counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rebel Son. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yoritomo connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Son bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Yoritomo tries to control but Son manages to take his back. Son has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Yoritomo's body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Son lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Yoritomo hold on?!
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Son has the hooks in. Yoritomo is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Son working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Yoritomo is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Son has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Yoritomo taps out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rebel Son! In defeat, Kamakiri Yoritomo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sometimes it is better to lose and do the right thing than to win and do the wrong thing.'.
