Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Waker Glass (ranked 5472 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Pickering (ranked 3736 p4p, 407 weight class). Oliver Pickering is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Waker Glass! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Pickering! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pickering uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Glass. Glass closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Pickering gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Pickering really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Glass looking to control but Pickering is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Pickering wants to hold on but Glass pushes him away. Glass looking to finish Pickering with some ground and pound. This is bad for Pickering! Pickering is trying to get back to his feet but can't. Pickering tries to hold on but Glass postures up. Glass trying to control but Pickering is having none of it. Pickering is bucking up trying to escape but Glass cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Glass won't let Pickering get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Pickering regains half guard. Pickering has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Glass is working away from the top position though. Glass is looking to take a break and control but Pickering is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Glass knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pickering on the ground. Pickering has hold of Glass's hands but Glass slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Glass drops an elbow to the side of Pickering's head. Glass looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Pickering is looking to control Glass's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Pickering avoid being mounted? Pickering moves into full guard.
Pickering looking to hit a scissor sweep but Glass is one step ahead there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickering is trying to keep Glass in close.
Glass got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pickering has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glass has managed to get both his arms back between Pickering's legs - danger averted. Pickering is trying to control the position but Glass postures up. Glass with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Pickering trying to keep a closed guard but Glass is proving a slippery customer.
Glass landing with the ground and pound. Pickering wants to hit a switch here but Glass passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Pickering there! Glass raining down hammerfists from mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Glass pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pickering working to try and regain half guard.
Glass has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Pickering's face.
Pickering tries to lock up and control but Glass gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Pickering is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Glass lands a big shot there that rocks Pickering but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Glass is landing with some decent strikes but Pickering is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Glass in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pickering can't escape the position.
Glass landing strikes from the mount and Pickering is in trouble! Glass prevents Pickering from getting the reversal. Glass breaks from Pickering's wrist control and lands an elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Glass connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pickering is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Pickering is rocked! Pickering is in all sorts of trouble here.
Pickering is still in real trouble! Can Glass finish him? Glass working away from the top, dropping strikes. Glass avoids the attempt from Pickering to control. Pickering seems to have recovered his senses. Pickering is bucking up trying to escape but Glass cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Pickering wants to hold on but Glass pushes him away. Glass putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Glass avoids the attempt from Pickering to control. Pickering is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Waker Glass dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Glass slaps away a takedown attempt from Pickering, before circling back to the center of the mat. Glass is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Pickering can do to turn this around? Pickering shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. No luck with that takedown attempt from Pickering. Glass changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Waker Glass has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Oliver Pickering. Pickering fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Pickering gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Pickering tries to score a power double leg takedown but Glass sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pickering somewhat. Glass drives through with a takedown into Pickering's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Glass trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Glass prevents Pickering from getting back to his feet. Glass is working Pickering over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Glass lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Pickering is on top in guard.
Pickering passes Glass's left leg - he's now in half guard. Glass is looking for a sweep. Pickering is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Waker Glass overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Glass is refusing to be controlled, as Pickering sits in half guard. Glass is looking for a sweep. Pickering not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Pickering throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pickering wants to control but Glass is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickering has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pickering wants to control the pace but Glass is squirming around nicely. Pickering sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Pickering tries to control but Glass wriggling away. Pickering is stalling here but it's allowed Glass to get half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pickering prevents Glass from improving his position. Glass missing with punches from the bottom.
Pickering seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Glass does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Glass tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Pickering wants to lay and pray for a moment but Glass keeps working. Glass wants to improve his position but Pickering is controlling well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Glass gets back to full guard.
Pickering works a leg free and moves into half guard. Pickering working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Pickering moves into full mount! Glass won't be happy about that! Glass is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pickering looking to control but Glass is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Glass wants to hold on but Pickering pushes him away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Oliver Pickering will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Glass sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Pickering is stalling here. Glass is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Pickering seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Glass has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Pickering is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Glass off and has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pickering trying to control. Pickering missing with punches from the back. Glass trying to control the hands but Pickering breaks the grip. Pickering misses with punches from the back. A lull in the action here.
Waker Glass is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pickering working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Glass is doing well to defend. Pickering seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Glass is forced to tap and this one is over!
