The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Molina darts in trying to clinch
and Ecoduaenes counters with a straight right hand.
Ecoduaenes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Molina looks for a takedown but Ecoduaenes sprawls well.
Molina really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ecoduaenes lands a nice hook to Molina's body. Molina takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Molina ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Molina seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Molina rushes Ecoduaenes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Molina jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ecoduaenes walks away with a smile on his face. Molina gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Ecoduaenes throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Molina sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Molina feinted with a counter takedown.

Oh Molina is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Molina is aggressively charging in as Ecoduaenes backs up avoiding any damage. Ecoduaenes tosses out a jab and Molina runs right into it face first! Molina is out cold! Ecoduaenes dropped down on all fours and is barking in Molina's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). LaVar Ecoduaenes!
LaVar Ecoduaenes decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
