Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between George Peterson (ranked 20200 p4p, 552 weight class) and Raivo Jaak (ranked 8461 p4p, 540 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Raivo Jaak! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Glass and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaak misses the jab. Jaak cracks Peterson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes. Jaak slips a straight right by Peterson. A countering left hand to the body from Jaak misses. Jaak staying out of range there. Jaak looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jaak misses with a straight right. Jaak fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Peterson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Peterson with a body punch. A glancing blow. Jaak pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Jaak misses with a double jab
and Peterson counters with a thumping low kick. Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Jaak. We've been informed that Jaak has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Jaak swings widly with a right hand
and Peterson finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Peterson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Jaak tries to clinch up. Peterson swings for the body but Jaak moves out of range.
Peterson scores with a jab to the body. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Peterson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Peterson tries a low kick but Jaak avoids it. Peterson tries to clinch there but Jaak circles away.

That's one minute gone in the round. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Peterson.
Jaak throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Peterson to counter with a crisp jab. Jaak jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Jaak takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Peterson ducks under a wild hook from Jaak. Raivo Jaak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peterson rushes Jaak and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. Peterson digs a right hand into Jaak's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Jaak's gas tank. Jaak goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

A head punch on the inside from Jaak fails to land. I was talking to Peterson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. A quick uppercut on the inside from Peterson. Peterson blocks a body shot from Jaak. Peterson swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Jaak is looking to break free of the clinch but Peterson has double underhooks. Jaak throws a knee to the head but misses.
Jaak is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Peterson is defending well for now. Peterson dodges an elbow strike from Jaak.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Jaak can't find room to land a body shot as Peterson controls the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson avoids the elbow strike from Jaak, against the ropes.
Jaak misses with a punch to the body.
Peterson lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A body shot lands from Peterson.
Peterson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Jaak looks winded! A shot in the inside from Peterson. Peterson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Peterson scores with an uppercut up the middle. Peterson tries a body shot but Jaak blocks it.

Peterson is leaning against Jaak and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Peterson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jaak backwards. A quick uppercut on the inside from Peterson.
It looks like Raivo Jaak has been cut. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jaak blocks a body shot from Peterson. A short right from Peterson.
Jaak is rocked! Peterson creates a bit of space for himself and unleashed what can only be described as a tiger uppercut, straight out of Street Fighter! Jaak crashes to the mat! Can he make it back to his feet in time? 3,4,5,6... it doesn't look like he's going to make it! Jaak face plants back to the mat and the referee calls off the fight! Peterson takes it with a brutal technical knockout!
