Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zsiga Venczel (ranked 1463 p4p, 218 weight class) and Greg Coleman (ranked 1478 p4p, 223 weight class). Coleman has chosen I Mother Earth - Not Quite Sonic as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zsiga Venczel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
29 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Coleman! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Venczel is defended easily by Coleman. Coleman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Venczel looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Coleman swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Coleman dodges the punch combination from Venczel.
Venczel avoids a lazy jab quite easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed right hand from Coleman misses the target. Venczel shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coleman as he avoids it easily. Coleman is trying to counter with his kicks. Venczel changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Coleman checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Venczel darts in looking for a takedown but Coleman gets double underhooks and turns Venczel into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zsiga Venczel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Venczel with a body punch. A glancing blow. Coleman takes one to the chin there. Venczel fails in his attempt to clinch. Nice shot lands for Venczel. Venczel feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Venczel throws a strike but Coleman rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman stands and steps away. Venczel gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Coleman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Venczel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coleman did well to prevent Venczel getting side control. Venczel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Coleman does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Venczel throwing shots but Coleman is blocking nicely. Coleman is trying to stand back up but Venczel is controlling him
Venczel is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Venczel is figuring out what he wants to do next. Venczel trying to control from half guard but Coleman is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Venczel. Venczel sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coleman's guard. Venczel is trying to control the action in half guard but Coleman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Venczel trying to pass the guard but Coleman defending well. Coleman is refusing to be controlled, as Venczel sits in half guard. Venczel tries to pass to full mount but Coleman defends it. Venczel is just content to waste time from the top position. Coleman takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Venczel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Venczel trying to control but Coleman is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Venczel throws a big right hand that misses. Venczel in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Venczel postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Coleman wants to stand up but Venczel is controlling him. Venczel trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Venczel wants to control from the top but Coleman keeps moving. Venczel won't allow Coleman to get back to his feet. The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Coleman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Coleman wants it to stay on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Zsiga Venczel will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Venczel looks to land a left hand but Coleman moved out of range nicely. Venczel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coleman did well to prevent Venczel getting side control. Coleman kicks Venczel off and gets back to his feet. Zsiga Venczel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Venczel uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Coleman. Venczel blocks the body kick.

Venczel scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Coleman throws Venczel to one side and escapes! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Coleman misses with a few strikes there.
Venczel tries to counter by clinching up but Coleman breaks away and moves out of range. Venczel tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Venczel scores with a shot to the body.
Venczel throws a looping overhand right but Coleman ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Venczel clinches up against the cage. Nice body punch from Venczel. Venczel is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. A nice glancing elbow lands by Venczel. Venczel fails to pull guard.
Coleman wants to stall.

Our sources have told us that Venczel has been working on his elbows in the gym. Coleman lands a left hand.
Venczel misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Coleman.
Coleman misses with some punches.
Coleman tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Venczel avoids it. Coleman lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Venczel or not. A short body shot lands from Coleman as the two fighters clinch.
Coleman misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Venczel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Coleman walks away with a smile on his face. Venczel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Coleman throws a sloppy head kick and Venczel moves out of range easily. Venczel tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Coleman manages to circle out of the way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A low kick from Venczel is predictable there and Coleman counters with a two punch combo. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Venczel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Coleman tries to avoid it but Venczel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Coleman to the ground. Coleman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zsiga Venczel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Venczel scores with a sloppy right hand. Coleman should have avoided that one. Coleman blocks a jab. Venczel shoots in looking for a takedown. Coleman tries to sprawl out of it but Venczel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coleman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Coleman takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Coleman misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman throws a series of punches but Venczel moves out of range. Coleman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Venczel manages to avoid it. Greg Coleman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Coleman misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Venczel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Coleman did well to prevent Venczel getting side control. Coleman manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Venczel keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Coleman breaks the clinch.
Venczel scores with a crisp jab that stopped Coleman in his tracks. Venczel tries to clinch there but Coleman circles away.
Coleman tries to counter with a clinch but Venczel shakes him off and moves away. Coleman throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Venczel's head.
It looks like Zsiga Venczel has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Venczel shoots in and gets a takedown into Coleman's guard. Venczel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Coleman is keeping the position for now. Venczel with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Coleman preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Venczel trying to control the position from guard on top but Coleman is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Coleman keeping full guard, as Venczel tries to pass. Venczel is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Coleman wants to stand up but Venczel is controlling him. Venczel throwing strikes but missing. Venczel working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Coleman's head. Venczel working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Greg Coleman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Zsiga Venczel's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Venczel with a poor takedown and Coleman counters with a crisp one two that drops Venczel! Coleman thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Venczel to his feet! Venczel is in big trouble!
Venczel is rocked! Venczel tries to land a front kick but Coleman steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Coleman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Oh Venczel is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Venczel scores with a jab to the head.
Venczel tries to clinch up but Coleman circles away and keeps his distance. Despite the aggression on Coleman's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Venczel ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Venczel seems to have got his legs back now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Venczel throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coleman is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Coleman works the jab nicely. Coleman connects with a single shot there. Venczel fails with an attempt to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Coleman on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Venczel tries to clinch but Coleman moves out of range. Venczel looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Coleman closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Venczel fails with the takedown. Coleman follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zsiga Venczel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Coleman misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Venczel.
Venczel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Coleman as he jumps to the side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Venczel misses with a takedown attempt - Coleman sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Coleman lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Coleman slaps away a takedown attempt from Venczel, before circling back to the center of the mat. Coleman throws a body punch but Venczel moves out of range. Coleman has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Venczel clinches up with Coleman and pushes him back against the cage. Coleman lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Zsiga Venczel's cut is getting worse. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Venczel tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Coleman misses with a body punch.
Venczel ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Venczel no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Coleman gets to his feet - Venczel follows without any prompting.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Venczel moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Coleman throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Coleman tries to move into range but Venczel moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Venczel will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Venczel looks to clinch and Coleman counters with a straight that turns Venczel's legs to rubber! Coleman pushes forward with more strikes and Venczel goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Greg Coleman! In his post fight interview, Greg Coleman started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
