Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, stttt yttrt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Roger Sander! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sander feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. yttrt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sander pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. yttrt is keeping the position for now. Sander missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Sander trying to control the position from guard on top but yttrt is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sander looks gassed! yttrt wants to stand but Sander is controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Sander tries to keep at a distance but yttrt has taken the fight into the clinch. yttrt lands an elbow that stopped Sander in his tracks for a moment. yttrt connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sander's face.
It looks like Roger Sander has been cut. Sander has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. yttrt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. yttrt connects with a knee to the head.

yttrt throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

yttrt crunches a lovely knee into Sander's ribcage. yttrt looks to throw an elbow but misses. yttrt throws an elbow but it misses.

Sander avoids a wild elbow strike from yttrt. Sander takes an elbow to the forehead. yttrt misses with an elbow over the top. yttrt landing knees to the body.
yttrt crunches a lovely knee into Sander's ribcage. yttrt connects with a nasty looking knee right to Sander's face.

Sander blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Sander blocks an elbow strike. yttrt throws an elbow but it's blocked.
yttrt pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Sander avoids a wild elbow strike from yttrt. A nice glancing elbow lands by yttrt. Sander tries to pull guard but yttrt holds him up against the cage and eventually Sander drops back down to his feet.
yttrt pushes off an fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Sander tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Sander on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Sander misses with a short punch on the inside. Sander has hold of one of yttrt's legs. yttrt is fighting the takedown attempt but Sander gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. yttrt wants to stand and escape but Sander is having none of it. Sander sitting in guard here, content to control. yttrt wants to stand up but Sander is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. yttrt trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sander controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sander's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Sander pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. yttrt is keeping the position for now. Sander stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Sander looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. yttrt wants to stand back up but Sander manages to pass into side control.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. yttrt is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Sander has just dragged him back down to the mat. yttrt is trying to escape the position but Sander is controlling the position. yttrt is trying to buck Sander off. Sander taking a breather here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Roger Sander will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Roger Sander's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
yttrt tries to clinch there but Sander circles away.
Sander is looking to clinch but yttrt is avoiding it.
yttrt tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sander counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in yttrt's guard now. yttrt wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Sander manages to pass to side control. Sander sitting and controlling from the half guard. yttrt wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Sander seems to be working for a kimura but yttrt defends the submission attempt. Sander controlling the pace. Sander prevents yttrt from standing back up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. yttrt scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Sander manages to mount him!

Despite being in the dominant position, Roger Sander just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. yttrt tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Sander counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Sander. yttrt wants to stand up but Sander is controlling him. Sander lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sander is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. yttrt is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. yttrt is looking to stand back up but Sander counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by yttrt. Sander content to control rather than advance. Sander landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Sander trying to control the pace. Sander is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Sander controlling from the full mount. yttrt really wants to buck Sander off and get back to his feet. Sander controlling from the full mount. yttrt knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sander on the ground. Sander lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roger Sander showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Roger Sander's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
yttrt misses with a series of wild punches.
yttrt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Sander fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. yttrt sprawls well initially but Sander persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Still in half guard, Sander seems content to control. yttrt wants to get back to his feet. Sander passes to side control. Sander scores with a couple of short elbows. Sander thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Sander controls the position from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sander wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by yttrt, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sander scores with punches from side control. yttrt is working to avoid the ground and pound but Sander connects with a decent elbow. Sander tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sander has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! yttrt is letting Sander control him for a moment. yttrt is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Sander asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Sander working the body and head with strikes. yttrt wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. yttrt closes the distance but Sander moves to the side and Sander counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Sander seems to be working for a kimura but yttrt defends the submission attempt. yttrt wants to get back to his feet. Sander slips a nice elbow through yttrt's hands, connecting with yttrt's forehead. yttrt tries to kick Sander off but Sander keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Sander drives through with a takedown into guard. Sander slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. yttrt is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sander dives into side control.
Sander stands up. yttrt looks to clinch and Sander counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for yttrt! Sander is landing with some decent strikes but yttrt is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Sander sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. yttrt is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sander wants to finish this one by submission but yttrt is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Sander. Sander controlling from the full mount. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! yttrt defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Sander. Sander dominating with strikes here. stttt yttrt has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Roger Sander is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. yttrt is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
And that's the end of the fight! Roger Sander comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Sander winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
