Wood comes to the cage accompanied by 3 6 mafia 1 hitta quita. Bowen has chosen JPATTERSSON - Like A Hippo as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wood slips under a jab.
A little feinted left hand from Wood on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wood lands a head kick. Bowen smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Brandon Bowen has been cut.
Bowen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Wood looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bowen is fending him off so far but Wood persists. Nope, Bowen circles away and we're back to standing.

It looks like Maddox Wood has been cut.
Wood loads up on a big right hand but Bowen slips the punch.
Bowen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wood!
Wood throws Bowen to one side and escapes!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wood connects with a jab.
Bowen misses with a looping right.
A telegraphed right hand from Bowen misses the target.
Bowen lands a big shot that drops Wood! Can he finish him?
Wood is rocked!
Wood working for a triangle but Bowen defends it easily.
Bowen gets to his feet and stands over Wood, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Wood felt that one! Bowen unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Wood from any more punishment!
