Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timiko Chen Lo (ranked 701 p4p, 92 weight class) and Don Petersen (ranked 963 p4p, 128 weight class). Chen Lo comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chen Lo throws a sloppy head kick and Petersen moves out of range easily.
Chen Lo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chen Lo drops his hands momentarily and Petersen takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Petersen missing with a left hand there. Chen Lo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
The fighters circling - Petersen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
An attempted straight right counter from Chen Lo misses the target.
Chen Lo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Chen Lo scores with a punch to the head.
Petersen clobbers Chen Lo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Chen Lo throws a jab but it's blocked by Petersen.
And Petersen tries to counter it with a takedown but Chen Lo pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Nice takedown defense from Chen Lo. No joy for Petersen on that attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petersen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Chen Lo slips under a jab.
Chen Lo thuds a left hand into Petersen's body.
Chen Lo throws a sloppy head kick and Petersen moves out of range easily.
Chen Lo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Petersen swings away with a body shot that misses
and Chen Lo counters with a stiff right hand.
A telegraphed right hand from Petersen misses the target.
Chen Lo on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Petersen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Petersen is rocked!
Chen Lo throws a head kick but Petersen moves out of range.
Petersen is still on wobbly legs! Can Chen Lo finish him?

Chen Lo cracks Petersen with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Petersen looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Chen Lo finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chen Lo misses with a looping right.
Chen Lo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Chen Lo throws a hook but Petersen avoids it easily.
Petersen seems to have recovered his senses.
Timiko Chen Lo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Chen Lo lands with a shot to the body.
