The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramsey misses with an attempted mid kick.
Ramsey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
It looks like Wilmer Ramsey has been cut. A low kick from Coles is predictable there and Ramsey holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ramsey stands up and waves to Coles to follow him. Mikai Coles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramsey gets caught napping as Coles dives in and scores a takedown. Ramsey manages to retain guard. Ramsey looking for a guillotine here but Coles defends easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ramsey wants to stand and escape but Coles is having none of it. Coles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ramsey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ramsey is breathing heavily. Coles moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Coles scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ramsey looks to move to half guard but instead Coles has passed into mount! Damn! Ramsey manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Ramsey, under a barage of strikes from Coles.

Coles wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Ramsey is now in half guard. Ramsey slips a nice elbow through Coles's hands, connecting with Coles's forehead.

And that's the end of the fight! Wilmer Ramsey showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ramsey, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
