Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 2093 p4p, 242 weight class) and Yusuf Mehadi (ranked 23869 p4p, 673 weight class). Mehadi has chosen BONEZ MC & RAF CAMORA - PALMEN AUS GOLD as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yusuf Mehadi!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mehadi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Austin somewhat.
Mehadi swings widly with a right hand
and Austin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Mehadi's guard.
Mehadi has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Austin off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Austin takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Austin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Austin has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Austin lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Mehadi! More strikes land and this one is all over! Austin jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
