The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ST shoots in for a double leg but Barreto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

ST closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - ST lands in his opponent's guard.
Barreto bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in ST's guard.
ST avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Barreto advances position into side control!
Barreto is working ST over with some ground and pound from side control.
ST sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Barreto lands strikes from half guard.
ST is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are battling for position here. ST manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Barreto pushes down on ST's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Barreto stops ST from getting back to his feet.
ST is breathing heavily.
ST tries to get to full guard but Barreto has control of the leg.
Barreto frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Barreto landing punches.
Barreto is looking to work his way around to ST's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Barreto tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Barreto is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. ST can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Barreto is landing with some decent strikes but ST is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Barreto is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but ST is surviving well by controlling Barreto's body position as best he can.

A big strike lands for Barreto! That's really hurt ST and he's turned his back - Barreto keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Barreto Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
