Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ken Simens (ranked 5738 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Frost (ranked 5725 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ken Simens! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Frost! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Shirou Masuda and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Simens scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Simens closes the distance and clinches. Frost breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Frost moves into the clinch. Frost can't break the clinch.
Frost blocks an elbow strike. Simens gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Frost regains guard.
Frost wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Frost trying to control the position.
Frost might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Simens haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Simens with a flurry of punches that miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Simens pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Frost is keeping the position for now. Frost keeping moving, preventing Simens from controlling successfully. Frost wants to sweep but no luck. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Simens trying to control but Frost is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Simens moves into range and clinches up with Frost. Frost fails to pull the fight into his guard.
The referee calls for Frost to work.
Simens has Frost pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Simens pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Frost tumbling to the mat - Simens dives into Frost's guard. Frost is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Frost gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Simens.
Simens displaying some good clinch control by pressing Frost up against the cage. Simens ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Simens no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Frost postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Simens looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Simens working a defensive guard but Frost manages to pass into side control anyway.
Frost taking a breather here. Frost lands some shots froms side control. Simens is trying to get back to half guard. Simens can't do much from the bottom here. Simens stops Frost from passing to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Frost lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Simens down.
Frost works to advance to full mount. Simens defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Frost is working for a guillotine from mount but Simens frees his head quite easily.
Frost tries to control but Simens wriggling away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Simens is desperately trying to improve his position but Frost has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Mark Frost will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Frost dives in and scores a takedown into Simens's guard. Simens wants to get back to his feet but Frost passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Simens looking for submissions off his back. Frost seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Simens does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Frost blocks the strikes from Simens.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frost is trying to control. Simens wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Frost content to control rather than advance. Frost throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Simens looking for submissions off his back. Frost trying to mount his opponent but Simens defends it. Simens is looking for a sweep. Frost is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Frost is taking a breather. Simens says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Mark Frost has got the better of the ground game so far. Simens with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Frost wants to stand up but Simens is controlling him. Frost keeping moving, preventing Simens from controlling successfully. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Frost is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mark Frost showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Simens dives in for a single leg takedown but Frost sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Frost is defended easily by Simens. Simens is trying hard to land a takedown here. Frost sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Ken Simens is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Simens misses with a double jab.
Frost tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Simens defends well and Frost ends up having to push Simens into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Simens slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. No luck with that takedown attempt from Frost. Ken Simens has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Frost. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Simens shoots and misses and Frost cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Frost closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Simens did well to prevent Frost getting side control. Simens has hold of Frost's hands but Frost slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Simens gets back to full guard.
Frost wants to stand but Simens is controlling his posture from full guard. Frost wants to pass the guard but Simens is keeping the position. Simens working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Frost doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Frost manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Simens lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Simens passes Frost's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Frost is looking for a sweep. Simens is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Simens looks to get to his feet but Frost has hold of an arm. He's persisting with trying to stand up and Frost certainly isn't letting go of the arm! Frost seems to be the aggressor now - he's rolled into the armbar and extended it - Simens is clearly in a lot of pain. He's tapping! He's tapping! What an ending! One minute you're in a dominant position, the next you've got a notch in the loss column - that's why we all love this sport!
