Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ron Jahn (ranked 5703 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Jax (ranked 5736 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ron Jahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Max Jax! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jax scores with a takedown into Jahn's guard. Jax tries to free his leg and advance position but Jahn is retaining full guard. Jax trying to control the position from guard on top but Jahn is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jax controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jahn had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jax defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jahn keeping moving, preventing Jax from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Jax tries to free his leg and advance position but Jahn is retaining full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jahn drives through with a takedown into Jax's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jax is wriggling around but Jahn manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jahn sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Jax defending well though. Jax is trying to get back to full guard. Jax is trying to control but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jahn lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Jax is trying to stand.
Jax makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jax. Jax preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Jahn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Jahn postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jax looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jahn is one step ahead there. Jahn stands up over Jax, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jahn preventing the sweep. Jax throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Jax keeping moving, preventing Jahn from controlling successfully. Jahn stands up from Jax's guard - Jahn perhaps looking for a knockout. Jax shoots in and drives through. Jahn sprawls well. Jahn has taken the fight to the clinch.
Jax pulls guard effortlessly. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jahn engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Jahn preventing the sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Ron Jahn will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Jahn tries to counter by clinching up but Jax breaks away and moves out of range. Jahn thows a body kick. Jax tries to catch it but that hurt him. Jahn shoots in for a double leg but Jax sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jax drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jahn defends it well. Jahn gets caught flat footed, as Jax shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jax postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Jax postures up and lands a big shot to Jahn's brow. Jahn on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jahn tries to get out of the position. Jahn has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jax can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jax should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Jax wants to control from the top but Jahn keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jax makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Jax won't allow Jahn to sweep him here. Jax landing with the ground and pound. Jax showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Jahn looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Jax gets to his feet. Jahn looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! The fight stays on the outside here - Jahn looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jax steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jahn. Jahn stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Jahn wants it to stay on the feet. Ron Jahn is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jax lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jahn circles away quickly and effectively. Jahn fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jax drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Jax is breathing heavily. Jax wants to control from the top but Jahn keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jahn is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jahn is looking for a triangle here but Jax uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
You can see the frustration on Jahn's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Jax has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Jax decides to stand up, so the ref orders Jahn to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Jax shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jahn is trying to defend but Jax finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Jahn is trying to escape back to his feet but Jax uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Max Jax showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Jahn holds on and takes a little breather. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jax advances to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Jax connects with a nice short shot to Jahn's temple. Jax tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Jax landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Jax is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Jahn is staying active underneath Jax, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jax lands strikes from half guard. Jahn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jax on the ground. Jahn tries to get to full guard but Jax has control of the leg. Jax wants to work for an arm triangle but Jahn is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Jahn is refusing to be controlled, as Jax sits in half guard. Jahn trying to control but Jax postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Jahn is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Jahn is working hard here to advance position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. A solid leg kick lands there for Jax.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Jax shoots in for a takedown but Jahn shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Jahn throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Jax's head. Jahn gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jax to score an easy takedown into full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Jax comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Jax has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
