Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Cuida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Johnny Kilmister!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kilmister throws a looping overhand right but Cuida ducks down to avoid it.
Kilmister is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Cuida darts in and clinches Kilmister up against the cage.
Nice body punch from Kilmister.
Cuida blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Kilmister slowing the pace effectively.

Cuida gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Cuida missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Cuida controlling from the top position.
Cuida seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kilmister for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cuida tries to free his leg and advance position but Kilmister is retaining full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kilmister trying to keep a closed guard but Cuida is proving a slippery customer.
Kilmister throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cuida wants to control from the top but Kilmister keeps moving.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kilmister lands with an uppercut that bounces Cuida off the cage and back into range.

Cuida closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kilmister wants to take the fight to the mat but Cuida manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Cuida drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kilmister gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Kilmister creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Kilmister crunches a lovely knee into Cuida's ribcage.

Kilmister avoids a wild elbow strike from Cuida.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Cuida obliges.
Kilmister is struggling to control the position.
Cuida just leaning against Kilmister, taking a breather.
Cuida tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Kilmister avoids it.
Kilmister lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Cuida - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kilmister has Cuida pressed against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Cuida's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Cuida looking to throw knees to the head but Kilmister is blocking nicely.

Kilmister misses with a shot to the kidneys.

It looks like Johnny Kilmister has been cut.

Cuida turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Cuida manages to end up in side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Kilmister tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Kilmister can't do much from the bottom here.
Kilmister manages to work his way to half guard, despite Cuida's best efforts.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Gray Cuida will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Johnny Kilmister's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Cuida throws a combination that misses
enabling Kilmister to counter with a crisp jab.
Kilmister moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Kilmister tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cuida manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Cuida takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Cuida is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Kilmister.
Kilmister is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Kilmister throws a left and a right that both miss
and Cuida counters with a right hand to the body.
Johnny Kilmister seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kilmister will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cuida connects with an inside leg kick.
Kilmister defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cuida.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kilmister is looking to clinch but Cuida is avoiding it.
Kilmister throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kilmister throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.


Cuida is rocked!

Kilmister moves into the clinch.
Oh Cuida is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kilmister lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Kilmister works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Cuida controls Kilmister momentarily but Kilmister frees himself.
Kilmister seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kilmister is looking to work some ground and pound but Cuida has wrist control.
Cuida might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cuida is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Kilmister throws a big right hand that misses.
Kilmister controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kilmister gets to his feet and stands over Cuida, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Cuida felt that one! Kilmister unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Cuida from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Kilmister!
A victorious Johnny Kilmister thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.
In defeat, Gray Cuida stepped up to the mic, saying 'This is why I run...'.
