Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Caius Cosades (ranked 549 p4p, 70 weight class) and Alton Newcastle (ranked 1029 p4p, 110 weight class). Cosades comes to the cage accompanied by Reign of the Septims. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newcastle swings for the body but Cosades moves out of range.
Newcastle throws a body punch but Cosades moves out of range.
Newcastle just misses with a punch to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Newcastle. Cosades does a little dance to reset his feet.
Newcastle loads up on a big right hand but Cosades slips the punch.
Newcastle swings widly with a right hand
and Cosades counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cosades.
Newcastle wants to sweep but no luck.
Cosades is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Newcastle is trying to control the position but Cosades postures up.
Newcastle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cosades manages to get himself to full guard.
Cosades working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Newcastle doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Newcastle manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Cosades had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Newcastle defends it easily.

Newcastle tries to free his leg and advance position but Cosades is retaining full guard.
Newcastle is still trying to improve position.
Newcastle lying in Cosades's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Cosades decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! Newcastle taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
