1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Nicolas Morales! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Alexandre Firmino and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morales shoots in for a takedown but Boyer shows good takedown defense. Morales looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boyer is fending him off so far but Morales persists. Nope, Boyer circles away and we're back to standing. Boyer throws a big counter combination but Morales scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Boyer misses with a head kick.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morales is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Boyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Boyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Morales has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Boyer. Boyer is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Morales can do to turn this around?

Boyer's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Boyer has Morales pushed against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Boyer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boyer wants to break free but Morales has control.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Boyer stalling in the clinch but Morales improves position. Maybe Boyer would be better served going for some more strikes rather than trying to control so much. Morales drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Boyer gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Morales takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Boyer uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Morales.

Boyer avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Morales changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Boyer fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fighters are pinned against the cage. Boyer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Boyer lands with a kick to the temple. Morales shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Boyer throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Morales is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Boyer. Boyer pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Wally Boyer is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boyer trying to control but Morales is working from the bottom.
And that's the end of the fight! Wally Boyer showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Boyer, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
