The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gvo gets caught napping as Silvio dives in and scores a takedown. Gvo manages to retain guard.
Silvio thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Silvio sitting in guard here, content to control.
Gvo had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Silvio defends it easily.
Silvio stays in close to Gvo's body and controls the position.
Silvio is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silvio drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Gvo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Silvio has Gvo in his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gvo is sitting in close to Silvio's body. Silvio has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Gvo is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Gvo is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Silvio.
