Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Thiago Savatos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Test Four!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savatos shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Four defends it nicely.
Four wants to counter with a clinch but Savatos pushes him away.
Four fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Four scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Four leaves Savatos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Four cracks a nice hook into Savatos's ribs.
Savatos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Four circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Thiago Savatos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A decent looking cross lands there for Four.
Savatos shoots in but Four avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Four throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Savatos stumbling backwards into the cage! Savatos bounces back off the cage towards Four, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Four lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Four celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
