The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Petrovski can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Petrovski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jedrzejczyk tries to avoid it but Petrovski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jedrzejczyk to the ground. Jedrzejczyk escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Petrovski closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Jedrzejczyk did well to prevent Petrovski getting side control.

Let's hope that Petrovski has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Petrovski tries to stand but Jedrzejczyk is controlling from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Jedrzejczyk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jedrzejczyk shoots in for a double leg but Petrovski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Petrovski takes a kick to the side of the head.
Petrovski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Jedrzejczyk tries to score a power double leg takedown but Petrovski sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jedrzejczyk somewhat.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Petrovski wants to get back to striking at distance but Jedrzejczyk won't allow it.

Petrovski tries to work over Jedrzejczyk's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Jedrzejczyk has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Petrovski uses from the top position.

Petrovski is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jedrzejczyk has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Petrovski is looking to defend but Jedrzejczyk has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Petrovski! Jedrzejczyk pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Petrovski taps out and this one is all over!
