Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bessarion Alexius (ranked 2908 p4p, 317 weight class) and Rikkard Hanson (ranked 2675 p4p, 291 weight class). Alexius's entrance music is A Country Boy Can Survive. A fine choice. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hanson shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexius manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hanson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hanson.
Hanson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
