The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ko Nachi tries to clinch up but Ripa circles away and keeps his distance.
Ripa throws out a counter right but Ko Nachi avoids it with no problem.

Ripa closes the distance and clinches.
Ripa is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ko Nachi is defending well.
Ripa is struggling to control the position.
Ko Nachi slowing the pace effectively.

Ripa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ripa scores with a shot to the body.
Ko Nachi scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ko Nachi misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ripa closes the distance and clinches.
Ko Nachi gets underhooks to prevent Ripa's takedown attempt.

Ripa is trying to drag Ko Nachi to the mat but Ko Nachi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Rigel Ko Nachi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Django Ripa.

Ko Nachi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Ripa avoids it.
Ripa looks to throw an elbow but misses.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Django Ripa.

Ripa has managed to clinch.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ripa creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ko Nachi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Ripa up against the cage.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ripa takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Ko Nachi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Ripa just stands there and leans against the cage.
The referee is keeping an eye on Ripa - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Ripa escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ko Nachi checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ripa pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ko Nachi is out of range and Ripa settles back down.
Ko Nachi tries to clinch but Ripa moves out of range.
Ko Nachi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ripa finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ripa. Ko Nachi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ko Nachi lands a body shot.
Ko Nachi walks into a jab.
Ko Nachi ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ripa moves away.
Ko Nachi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Ripa.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Ko Nachi is looking to land body kicks.
Ko Nachi scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ripa in his tracks.
Ko Nachi tries to clinch up.
Ripa now looks to counter with a shot at the body.

And that's the end of the fight!
Django Ripa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Ripa has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
