Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jose Correa (ranked 1777 p4p, 211 weight class) and Bosco Iwoba (ranked 1614 p4p, 192 weight class). Iwoba has chosen Hercules* as his entrance music. Bosco Iwoba acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jose Correa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bosco Iwoba! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iwoba scores with a jab to the head.
Bosco Iwoba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Correa on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Iwoba throws a head kick that misses letting Correa counter with a right hand. Correa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Correa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Iwoba thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Correa if he has to take too many more of those.
Correa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The crowd cheers as Iwoba lands an impressive looking overhand right. Correa doesn't seem phased though. Iwoba throws a leg kick and Correa counters with a nice uppercut. Iwoba lunges at Correa with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Correa's hand. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Iwoba connects with a body shot that sends Correa's belly button to the back. Correa lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Iwoba buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Jab from Iwoba. Correa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Iwoba throws out the jab. Iwoba throws a poor cross that misses
and Correa counters with a nice uppercut. Correa pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Iwoba has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
That's one minute gone in the round. No joy there for Iwoba, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Nice defenses there by Iwoba. Iwoba fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Correa looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Iwoba buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Correa throws a lazy right hand but Iwoba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Correa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Iwoba. Iwoba has taken the fight to the clinch.
Iwoba blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Correa tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. An uppercut to the body lands inside from Iwoba. Correa jumps guard and drags Iwoba to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Correa managing to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Iwoba's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Correa bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Iwoba's guard. Iwoba keeping moving, preventing Correa from controlling successfully. Iwoba looking to hit a scissor sweep but Correa is one step ahead there. Correa working some strikes from top position. Correa is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Correa has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iwoba trying to keep a closed guard but Correa is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Correa wants to control from the top but Iwoba keeps moving. Correa pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Iwoba is keeping the position for now. Iwoba is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Iwoba looking for a sweep. Not yet Iwoba, not yet. Correa is looking to work some ground and pound but Iwoba has wrist control. Correa slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Correa's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Correa throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Iwoba lands with a thumping leg kick.
Correa throws a lazy right hand but Iwoba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Iwoba uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Correa. Iwoba tries to land a front kick but Correa steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Jab from Iwoba. Correa thuds his right hand into Iwoba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Iwoba lands an overhand right. Correa throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A shot to the liver by Correa. Beautiful body shot. Iwoba is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Correa had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Iwoba lands with a straight right. Correa didn't see that one coming. Iwoba stuns Correa with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Bosco Iwoba dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Iwoba staying out of range there. Iwoba punishes Correa's body with a nice straight punch. Iwoba ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Correa moves away. Iwoba ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Iwoba appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Correa throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Iwoba is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Iwoba swings away with a leg kick that misses. Correa walks forward, straight into a front kick from Iwoba. Iwoba thuds a left hand into Correa's body. Iwoba moves out of range as Correa strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A punch lands to the side of Correa 's head but he takes it in his stride. Iwoba throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Correa misses the jab. Iwoba shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Correa eats them both and turns towards Iwoba to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Correa takes a body punch but keeps moving. Iwoba darts in and clinches Correa up against the cage. Iwoba lands with a short shot to the head. Correa prevents a body shot from Iwoba. Iwoba blocking some punches.
Correa misses with a punch to the body.
Iwoba lands with a short head shot on the inside. Iwoba blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Iwoba lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Correa backwards. Iwoba lands a left hand.
Correa is rocked! Iwoba tries to throw a body punch but Correa avoids it by throwing Iwoba back against the cage. Correa lands a body punch in the clinch. Iwoba struggles to land a body shot inside as Correa controls his hands.

Correa takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Correa misses with an uppercut. Correa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Correa avoids the body shot from Iwoba.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iwoba lands with a straight right. Correa didn't see that one coming. Bosco Iwoba seems to be getting the better of the standup. Iwoba lands a nice looking kick to the body. Correa takes a step back to recover. Iwoba scores with a body shot.
Horrible takedown attempt by Iwoba or perhaps it was just good defense by Correa, which made it look bad. Iwoba displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Correa throws out the jab. Iwoba misses with a jab, cross combination.
Correa feints a jab promting Iwoba to slip. Correa then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Iwoba slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Bosco Iwoba has been cut. Iwoba misses with a hook
enabling Correa to counter with a crisp jab.
Iwoba is rocked! A shot to the body from Iwoba misses and Correa counters with a crisp right that sends Iwoba to the canvas! Correa follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:52 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jose Correa! Our winner, Jose Correa, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
