Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Underestimated Dillashaw Junior (ranked 886 p4p, 104 weight class) and Lu Hao (ranked 982 p4p, 117 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
41 - 30 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Underestimated Dillashaw Junior! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 17 - 2, fighting out of New York, Lu Hao! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Aafke Stam and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hao blocks a low kick nicely. Dillashaw Junior moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dillashaw Junior wants to clinch up but Hao keeps it at a distance. Hao rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dillashaw Junior moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hao avoids the body shot from Dillashaw Junior.
Hao has a takedown stuffed. Hao misses with a double jab.
Hao checks a leg kick. We've been informed that Hao has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Dillashaw Junior connects with a right hand. Hao shakes it off. Dillashaw Junior walks into a straight right hand from Hao. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dillashaw Junior throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Dillashaw Junior throws a hook but Hao blocks it. Hao rushes Dillashaw Junior and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Hao lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hao tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dillashaw Junior throws a knee to the head but misses.
Hao wants to get back to striking at distance but Dillashaw Junior won't allow it.
Hao digs a right hand underneath Dillashaw Junior's ribcage. Dillashaw Junior let out a lung full of air as it connected. Hao working aggressively here.
Dillashaw Junior lands a nice shot to the body. Dillashaw Junior lands with a short head shot on the inside. A quick uppercut on the inside from Dillashaw Junior. Hao lands a right hand that snaps the head of Dillashaw Junior backwards. Dillashaw Junior misses with a punch to the body.

Hao lands a shoulder strike. Hao tries to pull guard but Dillashaw Junior holds him up against the cage and eventually Hao drops back down to his feet.
Underestimated Dillashaw Junior has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lu Hao. Dillashaw Junior lands a good knee to the midsection. Hao won't want to take too many of those. Dillashaw Junior misses with a knee strike.
Dillashaw Junior tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Hao avoids it. Hao takes a knee right on the jaw!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hao tries to pull guard but Dillashaw Junior holds him up against the cage and eventually Hao drops back down to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hao fails to pull guard.
Hao tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Dillashaw Junior just stands there and leans against the cage. Hao pulls Dillashaw Junior into guard.
Hao isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Dillashaw Junior stacks Hao on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Dillashaw Junior! Hao is trying to work for a sweep but Dillashaw Junior has mounted him! Dillashaw Junior avoids the attempt from Hao to control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hao working to try and regain half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hao wants to hold on but Dillashaw Junior pushes him away. Hao is wriggling around trying to escape.

Hao actively working from the bottom here. Hao is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Dillashaw Junior pulls his head out easily. Dillashaw Junior is keen to just control but Hao is a slippery customer. Hao tries to get to full guard but Dillashaw Junior has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillashaw Junior thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hao's head. Dillashaw Junior frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hao wants to hold on but Dillashaw Junior pushes him away. Dillashaw Junior can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hao is looking to escape. Dillashaw Junior avoids the attempt from Hao to control. Hao sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Dillashaw Junior keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Underestimated Dillashaw Junior dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Hao takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Hao darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Hao is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Dillashaw Junior has managed to free his arm - good work. Hao is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Dillashaw Junior sees it coming and defends easily. Hao is working for a kimura but Dillashaw Junior is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hao wants to work for an arm triangle but Dillashaw Junior is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillashaw Junior wants to get back to full guard. Hao tries to pass to full mount but Dillashaw Junior defends it. Hao is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Dillashaw Junior is just riding it out for now. Hao eventually gives up the hold. Hao trying to control the action but Dillashaw Junior is working from the bottom. Dillashaw Junior is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hao's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hao's back! Dillashaw Junior has the hooks in. Hao is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillashaw Junior biding his time, controlling Hao. Hao tries to escape the position.
Hao is trapped and Dillashaw Junior is scoring with shots to the head and body. Hao is really stuck here.

Hao looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillashaw Junior controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dillashaw Junior is not going to allow Hao to sit and survive in this position. Underestimated Dillashaw Junior overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hao wants to escape the position.
Dillashaw Junior gets his hands free as Hao looks to control. Dillashaw Junior trying to control. Hao trying to control the position but Dillashaw Junior manages to sink in the hooks. Dillashaw Junior is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hao can do to turn this around? Dillashaw Junior is trying to stick to Hao's back but Hao is turning into Dillashaw Junior. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Dillashaw Junior's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Hao. Hao looking to sit in guard and control but Dillashaw Junior gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hao has his foot on Dillashaw Junior's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dillashaw Junior works his way back into a safe position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hao working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dillashaw Junior doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Hao is tightening it up a little... Dillashaw Junior has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dillashaw Junior reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dillashaw Junior taps out! Nice BJJ there by Hao!
