The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bathory feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Silva sprawling to the canvas! Silva rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bathory finish him?!

Silva takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Bathory counters with an outside leg kick.
Bathory lunges at Silva with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Silva's hand.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Silva crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bathory - the referee stops the clock and Silva gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bathory. Silva manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Arzlan Bathory is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bathory throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Oooooh!!! Bathory has knocked Silva down with a huge combo! Bathory steps away and waves a wobbly Silva back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Bathory drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Silva's head, knocking him out cold! Bathory is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arzlan Bathory!
