PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Graig Jimenez (ranked 6057 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boxing Bag (ranked 7656 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Hugh Johnson and Ben Watson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A low kick from Bag is predictable there

and Jimenez counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Jimenez's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Jimenez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Jimenez chips away with some ground and pound.
Jimenez is looking to work some ground and pound but Bag has wrist control.
Bag wants to stand up but Jimenez is controlling him.
Jimenez postures up and lands a big shot to Bag's brow.
Jimenez is working Bag over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Bag wants to get back to his feet but Jimenez is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Jimenez will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jimenez stops Bag from standing up.
Jimenez cracks Bag with a solid left hand.
Jimenez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jimenez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Jimenez has gone for a leg lock! Bag slips out almost immediately though and dives into Jimenez's guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jimenez is on top in guard.

Bag wants to stand and escape but Jimenez is having none of it.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bag is looking to stand back up but Jimenez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bag.
Bag is looking to escape.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Bag has eaten all the pies!
Bag is trying to escape back to his feet but Jimenez uses the scramble to pass into side control.

Bag tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Jimenez has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Bag is defending well but eventually Jimenez manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Bag has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
