Stone is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Matrimony by:Wale. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hunter Farnan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Javelle Stone!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farnan shoots in and drives through. Stone sprawls well.
Farnan dodges the punch combination from Stone.
Farnan fails to land the takedown.
Farnan tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stone is looking for the big counter here.
Farnan swats away the attempt to clinch by Stone.

Oooooh!!! Stone has knocked Farnan down with a huge combo! Stone steps away and waves a wobbly Farnan back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

and Stone counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hunter Farnan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Farnan gets control of Stone's arms and successfully pulls guard. Farnan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Stone wanted to stand there but Farnan had control of the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Farnan not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farnan is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Stone really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Farnan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Farnan looking for a guillotine here but Stone defends easily.
Farnan is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Farnan will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Farnan wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment.
Stone is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Stone drops Farnan with a beautiful combination! Farnan stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Stone is looking for the KO!
Oh Farnan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stone fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Farnan seems to have got his legs back now.
Stone connects with a right that clearly hurt Farnan. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Stone proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Farnan collapses and taps out under the pressure!
