Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorden Ellis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ellis comes into the arena with M.E.T.H.O.D. Man blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Carter's choice of entrance music: 99 Problems Remix. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A shot to de liver by Ellis. Beautiful body shot.
Ellis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Carter. That one must have hurt.
Carter throws a half hearted mid kick.
Carter stuffs the takedown.
Ellis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ellis avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ellis checks a leg kick nicely.
Carter walks into a jab.
The fight stays on the outside here - Carter looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Carter feints and as Ellis raises his hands in defense, Carter changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ellis stands up and waves to Carter to follow him.
Ellis darts in and clinches Carter up against the cage.

Ellis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ellis lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Carter throws a low kick but it's checked well by Ellis.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
