Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Irhin keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Irhin with a nice cross.
Irhin connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Irhin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Roman shoots in looking for a takedown. Irhin tries to sprawl out of it but Roman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Irhin manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Irhin lands with a straight right. Roman didn't see that one coming.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Irhin scores with a jab to the body.
Irhin has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Irhin connects with a nice looking jab.
Roman shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Irhin defends it nicely.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Greco Roman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Roman takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Irhin thuds a left hand into Roman's body.
Irhin ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Irhin bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Roman's head backwards.
Roman shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Irhin lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Roman falls backwards - clearly groggy! Irhin dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Artem Irhin!
Artem Irhin bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
