The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez looking to score a takedown here. Sicila is defending well but Martinez drives through and ends up in Sicila's guard.
Sicila is looking to stand back up but Martinez counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sicila.
Martinez really is a fat lump.
Well, if Martinez is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The referee asks Martinez politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Martinez prefers to stall for the moment though.
Martinez works to advance to full mount. Sicila defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Sicila changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martinez tries to avoid it but Sicila manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martinez to the ground. Martinez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sicila tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Martinez wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Martinez remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
