The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
JimmyJohn looking to score a takedown here. Smith is defending well but JimmyJohn drives through and ends up in Smith's guard.
Smith trying to keep a closed guard but JimmyJohn is proving a slippery customer.
JimmyJohn is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Smith really doesn't want to stay on the ground with JimmyJohn. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
