Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Maeda (ranked 3842 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Jedrzejczyk (ranked 3421 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Pawel Jedrzejczyk was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Thomas Maeda!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pawel Jedrzejczyk!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jedrzejczyk fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Maeda sprawls well initially but Jedrzejczyk persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Maeda might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Maeda regains full guard. Nicely done.
Maeda working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Jedrzejczyk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jedrzejczyk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Maeda trying to keep a closed guard but Jedrzejczyk is proving a slippery customer.
Jedrzejczyk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maeda swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Maeda has his feet on Jedrzejczyk's thighs here. He's pushed Jedrzejczyk off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Jedrzejczyk screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
