Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Sean Franco (ranked 4950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Bly (ranked 8316 p4p, 0 weight class). Bly has chosen Hit em High as his entrance music. Franco has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Franco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mario Bly!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, John Kavanagh and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Bly.
A combination from Bly does no damage.
Franco wants to clinch.
Bly misses with a few strikes there.
Nice body punch from Bly.
Franco takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Bly connects with a body shot that sends Franco's belly button to the back.
Bly moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Sean Franco has been cut.
Franco is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Bly coming out on top.
Bly throws a series of punches but Franco avoids them all with ease.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bly circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nice uppercut lands for Bly. That snapped Franco's head back.
Bly throws a nice inside leg kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Bly.
Franco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bly tries to avoid it but Franco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bly to the ground. Bly escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Left hook, right uppercut from Bly.
Bly misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Franco fails with the takedown.
A solid leg kick lands there for Bly.
Bly scoring well with a low kick there.
Bly misses with a head kick.
Bly will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Franco is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Bly.
Bly cracks Franco with a right hand to the side of the head.
Bly displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Bly stuns Franco with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bly lands a nice hook to Franco's body. Franco takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bly connects with a looping right hand.
Nice takedown defense from Bly. No joy for Franco on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sean Franco. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bly throws a series of strikes that have Franco backpedaling.
Franco is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bly moves into range and connects with a jab.
Oh Franco is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bly batters Franco with a massive right followed by a huge left! Franco is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Bly lands a final crushing right hand to drop Franco to the mat with a gruesome thud! Bly is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Mario Bly!
Mario Bly decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
