Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Misha Collins (ranked 263 p4p, 36 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 150 p4p, 20 weight class). Larusso has chosen Glory of love as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Misha Collins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
41 - 23 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Daniel Larusso! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larusso ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Collins moves away. Collins half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Collins misses with a wild combination.
Collins shoots in for a takedown but Larusso shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And Larusso responds with a good body kick, but Collins manages to step out the way in time. Larusso swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Collins. A solid leg kick lands there for Larusso.

Larusso dips to his left and cracks Collins with an uppercut! Collins feints and as Larusso raises his hands in defense, Collins changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Larusso scrambles and gets back to his feet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Larusso throws a head kick but Collins moves out of range.
Collins shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Larusso as he avoids it easily. Larusso looks to score with a jab to the body but Collins is just out of range. Larusso takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Collins steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Larusso. That one must have hurt. Larusso's coach down at The Coffee Shop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Larusso's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Collins with a jab. Collins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Larusso moves away. Larusso delivers a nice body kick. Larusso misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins throws a looping overhand right but Larusso ducks down to avoid it. Larusso scores with a kick to the midsection. Collins uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Larusso. The fighters circle momentarily. Collins darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Nice shot lands for Larusso. Larusso throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Larusso looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Collins shoots in and drives through. Larusso sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Misha Collins. That's going to take a lot out of him. Larusso is looking to land body kicks. Larusso keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Collins. Collins steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Larusso. A looping hook to the body misses from Larusso. Collins does a little dance to reset his feet. Collins tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Larusso swivels and escapes. Larusso misses with a straight right. Collins is looking to counter punch. Larusso lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Larusso takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Larusso.
Larusso throws a leg kick that is checked and Collins counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Larusso tries to get to full guard but Collins has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Collins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Larusso does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Larusso regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Collins. Larusso pulls Collins in to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Collins accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Collins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Larusso works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Larusso keeping full guard, as Collins tries to pass.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Collins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Larusso preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Collins loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Collins trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Collins throws a big elbow that misses. Collins won't allow Larusso to get back to his feet. Collins preventing the sweep. Collins stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Larusso swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Collins throwing strikes from guard but Larusso blocks nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Collins throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Larusso works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Collins is in close to Larusso's body, working some short punches and elbows. Larusso wants to sweep here but Collins controlling him for the moment. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Larusso holds on and takes a little breather. Collins throwing strikes from guard but Larusso blocks nicely. Collins connects with a couple of short punches. Collins throws an elbow that misses. Larusso uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Collins's guard. Nice move by Larusso!
Larusso got a little sloppy there for a moment and Collins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Larusso has managed to get both his arms back between Collins's legs - danger averted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Daniel Larusso dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Collins shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Larusso doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Larusso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Collins manages to avoid it. Both fighters circling a little - Larusso finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A nice inside leg kick there by Larusso. That's going to slow Collins down. No luck with that takedown attempt from Collins. Larusso throws a body punch but Collins moves out of range. Larusso connects with a leg kick. Collins looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Collins lands a jab-cross combination. Larusso throws a body kick that misses. Larusso misses with the body kick and Collins cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. This has been an exciting period of action! Larusso lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Collins at a distance.
Collins cracks Larusso with a right hand to the side of the head. Collins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Larusso napping and manages to drive through into side control! Larusso throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
That's one minute gone in the round. Collins is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Larusso sizes up Collins with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. A punch lands to the side of Collins 's head but he takes it in his stride. A shot to the liver by Collins. Beautiful body shot. A left lands for Larusso. Collins throws a body shot but no joy. It seemed like Larusso was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Daniel Larusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larusso throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Collins stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Larusso scores with a nice right hand.

Larusso fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Horrible takedown attempt by Collins or perhaps it was just good defense by Larusso, which made it look bad. Collins ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Larusso is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Collins. Collins throws a shot from downtown. Larusso moves away and avoids it. Larusso throws a leg kick that misses. Collins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Larusso lands with a cross. Larusso looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Collins closes this distance looking for a takedown but Larusso circles away. Collins clobbers Larusso with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Collins fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Larusso scores with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Collins. Larusso uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Collins. Collins on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Larusso tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Larusso throws a good cross that connects.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Collins looks to land a left hand but Larusso moved out of range nicely. Larusso moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Larusso has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Larusso comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Larusso swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Daniel Larusso showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Collins's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Collins shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Larusso defends it nicely. Larusso throws a lazy right hand but Collins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Larusso scores with a spinning back kick! Larusso throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Larusso lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Collins drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Larusso misses with a low kick. Collins is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. A jab lands there for Larusso. Larusso fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Collins manages to avoid it. Collins misses the shot to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Collins connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Larusso's hands. Larusso lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Larusso catches Collins with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Collins will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Collins throws out a loose jab but Larusso uses good head movement to avoid it. Larusso keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Larusso slips a jab from Collins. Larusso steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Collins. Larusso throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Larusso throws a head kick that misses. Larusso feints and then cracks Collins's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Collins down. Larusso scores with the left hand. Collins knows he should have avoided that one. Collins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Larusso with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Collins to score with a decent uppercut. Larusso throws a looping overhand right but Collins ducks down to avoid it. Collins looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Larusso lands a nice looking body kick. Collins walks into a straight right hand from Larusso.

Some bone on bone action there as Collins checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Collins scores with a nice strike. Larusso dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A looping hook to the body misses from Collins. Larusso does a little dance to reset his feet. Larusso throws out a counter right but Collins avoids it with no problem. Larusso lands the left hand. Collins needs to keep his hands up - Larusso had a free shot at his head there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Good leg kick by Larusso there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Collins shoots for a double leg takedown but Larusso sprawls well. He's pushed Collins's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Collins takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Daniel Larusso is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Larusso throws a body shot but no joy. Collins throws a hook but Larusso blocks it. Larusso tries to land a front kick but Collins steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Larusso slips under a jab from Collins. Misha Collins has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Larusso scores with a spinning back kick!
And that's the end of the fight! Daniel Larusso comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Larusso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
