Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Misha Collins (ranked 263 p4p, 36 weight class) and Daniel Larusso (ranked 150 p4p, 20 weight class). Larusso has chosen Glory of love as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Larusso ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Collins moves away.
Collins half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Collins misses with a wild combination.
Collins shoots in for a takedown but Larusso shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And Larusso responds with a good body kick, but Collins manages to step out the way in time.
Larusso swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Collins.

Larusso's coach down at The Coffee Shop was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Larusso's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Collins is in close to Larusso's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Larusso wants to sweep here but Collins controlling him for the moment.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Larusso holds on and takes a little breather.

Larusso lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Larusso has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
