Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eddy Maiden (ranked 4773 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaiah Moorman (ranked 4953 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Maiden might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iron Maiden. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eddy Maiden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaiah Moorman! The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A solid leg kick lands there for Maiden.
Moorman lands a right hook to the body.
Maiden is looking to slow Moorman down with leg kicks. Moorman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Maiden uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Moorman. Maiden lands with a slapping head kick. Maiden moves out of range as Moorman strikes. Maiden scores with a head kick.
Maiden bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. The fighters circling - Moorman throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Maiden explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Moorman misses with a straight right. Maiden has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Moorman misses the jab. Maiden tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Moorman manages to circle out of the way. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Moorman scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Eddy Maiden has been cut. Moorman avoids the head kick by Maiden.
Maiden fakes the leg kick and cracks Moorman in the body. Maiden throws a head kick that half lands.
Maiden lands a head kick. Moorman smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Maiden ducks under a wild hook from Moorman. Moorman throws a jab but it's blocked by Maiden. Moorman waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maiden. Moorman throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Maiden feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Moorman's calf.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maiden throws a nice head kick!
Moorman fails to land with a series of punches.
Maiden drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maiden is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Moorman really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Maiden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Maiden has hold of Moorman's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Moorman tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Maiden cranks the arm and Moorman screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Moorman, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
