Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Stu Grimson (ranked 78 p4p, 6 weight class) and Quetzal Montezuma (ranked 137 p4p, 16 weight class). Grimson comes to the cage accompanied by Omerta - Lamb of God. Montezuma has chosen The Mayan Predator as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grimson lunges at Montezuma with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Montezuma's hand.
Grimson scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Grimson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Montezuma thuds a left hand into Grimson's body.
Montezuma throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Grimson throws a low kick but Montezuma moves out of range easily.
Montezuma throws out a counter right but Grimson avoids it with no problem.
Grimson has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Grimson avoids a kick to the body.
Grimson throws a right hand that misses
and Montezuma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
It looks like Stu Grimson has been cut.

Montezuma tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grimson was well out of range. Poor timing from Montezuma.

Montezuma moves away from the strike by Grimson.
Montezuma bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Montezuma uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grimson.

Montezuma digs a good body shot into Grimson's ribs.
Grimson takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Grimson on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

and Montezuma counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Montezuma drops Grimson with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Grimson! Montezuma dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
