Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 2286 p4p, 248 weight class) and Chew Kok (ranked 1826 p4p, 213 weight class). Barnett's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Move. Chew Kok has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Buddy Barnett's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buddy Barnett! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Chew Kok! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Barnett wants to clinch up but Kok keeps it at a distance. Barnett shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kok defends it nicely. Barnett fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kok takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Barnett darts in looking for a takedown but Kok gets double underhooks and turns Barnett into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Buddy Barnett. That's going to take a lot out of him. Barnett closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kok did well to prevent Barnett getting side control. Barnett lands with a punch from half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Barnett looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kok with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Barnett lands with a punch from half guard. Barnett trying to control from half guard but Kok is working away. Barnett is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Barnett slips a nice elbow through Kok's hands, connecting with Kok's forehead. Barnett scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kok pushes Barnett off looking to stand but Barnett dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barnett is trying to control. Kok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Kok has hold of Barnett's hands but Barnett slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kok taking some punishment here, with Barnett in his half guard. Barnett working over Kok with some ground and pound. Kok looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kok really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Barnett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kok on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Barnett controlling the action here. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Barnett lands a nice short elbow.
Kok is rocked! The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Barnett connects with a nice short shot to Kok's temple. Barnett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kok pushes Barnett off looking to stand but Barnett dives back in and keeps control.
Barnett is nestled in close to Kok, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Barnett winds up and cracks Kok with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kok on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Kok is still in real trouble! Can Barnett finish him? Barnett drops an elbow to the side of Kok's head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kok wants to get back to his feet. Barnett has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Barnett takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Barnett is looking to take a break and control but Kok is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Kok is looking to escape. Ground and pound from Barnett. Barnett looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Barnett trying to control the action but Kok is working from the bottom. Barnett lands a big elbow - Kok is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Barnett!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Buddy Barnett! Buddy Barnett tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
