Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rami Kivi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tor Svensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kivi's entrance music is Rammstein - Rammstein. A fine choice. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tor Svensson was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rami Kivi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tor Svensson! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kivi closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Svensson to the mat! Svensson manages to get full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Svensson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kivi wants to control from the top but Svensson keeps moving. Kivi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Svensson has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Kivi trying to control but Svensson is working from the bottom. Kivi looking to sit in guard and control but Svensson gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Svensson stands up and waves to Kivi to follow him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kivi fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kivi blocks a head kick by Svensson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kivi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Svensson as he avoids it easily. Kivi checks a leg kick nicely. Kivi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Svensson circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rami Kivi. That's going to take a lot out of him. Svensson connects with a solid leg kick. Kivi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Svensson but Svensson pushes him off and we're back to square one. Kivi shoots in looking for a takedown. Svensson tries to sprawl out of it but Kivi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Svensson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Kivi takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Kivi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kivi is breathing heavily. Kivi misses with a takedown attempt. Kivi shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kivi. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Kivi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Svensson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A good leg kick by Svensson. Svensson thumps Kivi with a low kick. Svensson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. The fight stays on the outside here - Kivi looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kivi checks the leg kick nicely there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kivi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Svensson pinned against the cage. Svensson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kivi tries for a takedown but Svensson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kivi fails with an attempt to clinch.

Svensson stuffs the takedown. Kivi looks for a takedown but Svensson sprawls well. Kivi fails to land the takedown. Kivi shoots for a double leg takedown but Svensson sprawls well. He's pushed Kivi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Kivi shoots in but Svensson avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kivi checks a leg kick. Kivi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Svensson's guard. Svensson is looking to stand up but Kivi isn't so interested in that idea. Svensson looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kivi is one step ahead there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tor Svensson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Svensson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Svensson wants to get up but he can't break Kivi's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Svensson lands a really nice looking cross but Kivi seems unphased.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kivi shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Kivi showed some decent athleticism there. Kivi working over Svensson with some ground and pound. Svensson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kivi passes to side control. Kivi advances to mount. Kivi moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Svensson has worked his arm free - good work by Svensson!

Kivi tries for a kimura but Svensson is defending well. Kivi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Svensson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Svensson is looking for a sweep. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kivi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Svensson does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Svensson has one foot on Kivi's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Kivi tries for a takedown but Svensson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Kivi wants to pass the guard but Svensson is keeping the position. Svensson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Svensson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kivi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Svensson wants to get back to his feet but Kivi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Svensson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Kivi has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Kivi and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Nice sprawl there from Svensson as Kivi shoots in.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Svensson misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kivi showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Svensson.

And that's the end of the fight! Tor Svensson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Svensson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
