Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hip Hop (ranked 3374 p4p, 294 weight class) and Mauricio Macri (ranked 4842 p4p, 390 weight class). Hip Hop has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hip Hop! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mauricio Macri! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Macri misses with a body shot.
Macri closes the distance and pushes Hop back into the cage. Hop breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hop lands a lovely overhand right. Macri tries to clinch but Hop moves out of range. Macri clinches. A right hook to the body lands for Hop.
Macri blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Macri has clasped his hands together around Hop's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Hop keeps Macri under control for a moment. Hop is looking for a sweep. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! You can see the frustration on Hop's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hop keeps Macri under control for a moment. The ground and pound from Macri seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hop pushes Macri away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Macri gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Hop wants to control but Macri postures up. Hop is not content to let Macri control the position. Macri fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hop tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Macri wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Macri controls the position from side control. Hop holds on to Macri's head and controls the position momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Hop tries to improve position but can't. Macri wants to lay and pray for a moment but Hop keeps working. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Macri working the ground and pound from side control. Macri working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hop tries to improve position but can't. Hop is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Macri's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hop is looking for a sweep. Macri is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Macri is looking to take a break and control but Hop is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hop is controlling Macri's position as best he can from this difficult position. Macri is looking to stall here but Hop recovers full guard. Hop manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Macri manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Macri looking for a guillotine here but Hop defends easily.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Hip Hop will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Macri throws a right hand that Hop ducks under and follows up with a left that Hop also avoids with ease. Macri clinches with his opponent.
Hop has a couple of punches blocked by Macri.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hop. Macri controlling the action here for a moment.
Hop misses with a punch on the inside.
Hop breaks the clinch.
Hop throws a shot from downtown. Macri moves away and avoids it. Hop circles away from the clinch attempt.
Macri wants to clinch but Hop slips to the side and Hop cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Macri slips under a jab from Hop. Hop looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hop with a nice cross. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hop, as that shot connected.
Macri takes a jab right on the kisser.
Macri is rocked!
That's one minute gone in the round. Hop uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Macri.
Hop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Macri. Macri tries to clinch but fails miserably and Hop counters with a crisp right hand that drops Macri! Hop lets Macri back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Macri is still on wobbly legs! Can Hop finish him? Hop throws a looping overhand right but Macri ducks down to avoid it. Hop lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hip Hop!
