PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nothing KO (ranked 3670 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Bilalovski (ranked 4064 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nothing KO!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nick Bilalovski!
The judges for this bout are Bart Greer, Michael Johnstone and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bilalovski uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from KO.
KO ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
KO moves into range and connects with a jab.
Bilalovski closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
KO lands a nice hook to Bilalovski's body. Bilalovski takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
KO cracks Bilalovski with an open hand slap.
KO avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bilalovski looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bilalovski throws a leg kick that is checked
and KO cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bilalovski tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but KO swivels and escapes.

Bilalovski moves into the clinch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

KO breaks the clinch.
Bilalovski tries to close the distance and clinch but KO swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
KO lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bilalovski shoots in but KO avoids the takedown attempt easily.
KO went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Bilalovski shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has KO pinned against the cage. KO gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
It looked like KO wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Nothing KO has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nick Bilalovski.
Bilalovski slips under a jab.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bilalovski or perhaps it was just good defense by KO, which made it look bad.
Bilalovski looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


Bilalovski is rocked!
Nothing KO is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
KO bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Bilalovski's head.
Bilalovski is still on wobbly legs! Can KO finish him?
KO throws a hook but Bilalovski avoids it easily.
Bilalovski gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! KO gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nothing KO!
A very excited looking Nothing KO rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
