Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vasili Komaroff (ranked 508 p4p, 60 weight class) and Joe Gatsby (ranked 1485 p4p, 174 weight class). Komaroff comes to the cage accompanied by Kaleida - Think. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vasili Komaroff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joe Gatsby! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Komaroff ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Nice takedown defense from Gatsby. No joy for Komaroff on that attempt. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gatsby! But no joy. Komaroff moves into the clinch. Komaroff lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Gatsby is looking for a takedown. Komaroff lands an uppercut. Komaroff lands an uppercut. Gatsby has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Komaroff is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Gatsby is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Komaroff is defending well. Vasili Komaroff has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Joe Gatsby. Gatsby tries for a takedown. No joy.
Gatsby is trying to drag Komaroff to the mat but Komaroff just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Komaroff throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Gatsby blocks it with crossed arms. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Komaroff has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gatsby clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Gatsby is keeping busy.

That's one minute gone in the round. Gatsby covering up well under a series of strikes from Komaroff. We've been hearing good reports from Komaroff's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Gatsby manages to reverse the position and now he's in Komaroff's guard. Nice work there by Gatsby.

Nice strikes from Komaroff there. Gatsby is staying active underneath Komaroff, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Gatsby is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Komaroff pulls his head out easily. Gatsby tries to roll over but Komaroff keeps him under control. Komaroff lands strikes from half guard. Komaroff takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Komaroff thows a huge punch but Gatsby dodges it nicely.
Komaroff is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Gatsby doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Komaroff.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Komaroff is thwarting Gatsby's attempts to control the position. Komaroff looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Komaroff missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Komaroff is just content to waste time from the top position. Gatsby takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Komaroff sitting in guard here, content to control. Komaroff is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Komaroff's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vasili Komaroff dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Komaroff moves out of range as Gatsby strikes. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Komaroff tests Gatsby's chin there with a solid looking shot. Komaroff shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Komaroff shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gatsby as he avoids it easily. Gatsby swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Komaroff wants to clinch. Komaroff keeps Gatsby at a distance using the push kick. A head kick misses from Komaroff. Komaroff is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gatsby can do to turn this around? We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gatsby digs a good body shot into Komaroff's ribs. Some wild striking there from Gatsby.

Komaroff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Komaroff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Komaroff clinches. Komaroff is working for takedown but Gatsby is calmly controlling the position for now. Komaroff swings wildly with an uppercut but Gatsby uses good head movement to avoid it. Gatsby tries to score a body lock takedown but Komaroff shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Gatsby is looking to take this one to the mat. Komaroff wants to get back to striking at distance but Gatsby won't allow it.

Komaroff wants to control but Gatsby is keeping him busy. Komaroff has knee on belly and moves into mount. Komaroff is landing with some decent strikes but Gatsby is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Komaroff drops an elbow to the side of Gatsby's head. Gatsby looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Komaroff is keen to just control but Gatsby is a slippery customer. Komaroff is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Komaroff controlling the action here.
And that's the end of the fight! Vasili Komaroff showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Komaroff, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Vasili Komaroff! A determined Vasili Komaroff didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
