Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between James Raja (ranked 7210 p4p, 585 weight class) and Jayden Clements (ranked 4718 p4p, 451 weight class). Clements is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Caterpillar. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Wagner Zegers and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clements misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Raja counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Clements throws out a leg kick but Raja moves out of range and Clements only half commits.

Clements changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

and Raja counters with a straight right hand.
Raja lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Clements looks to throw the jab but Raja is out of range.

and Raja makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Raja displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clements.
Raja has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad Amsterdam in the buildup to the fight.
